Rubberized drive pulleys

For optimum adhesion between belt and pulley , we offer flat belt pulleys and belt drums with friction coatings made of rubber, silicone and polyurethane. These drive elements are mainly used as a head disk for bucket elevators or for drives in construction of transportation plants.

These rubber coatings are - according to the specifications of FDA and BfR - with appropriate color (white, blue, pink, etc.), also used in the food processing industry.

Surface structures are ground and profiled according to customer specifications. The friction layer can be applied to standard flat belt pulleys or to exclusive special pulleys.

All geometries can be easily produced by a flexible, model-free moulding process. From lot size 1 piece , for requirements as urgent spare parts, prototypes, pilot series models or small series, rubberised flat belt pulleys are produced according to customer specifications or drawings.

The design is also possible in alternative materials (EN-GJS, steel, aluminum, plastic , etc.).

In close cooperation with our customers, we develop the optimal solution for individual drives.

  • Standard material: cast iron EN-GJL-200 to EN-GJL-300 (GG-20 to GG-30) according to DIN EN 1561
  • Version for peripheral speeds up to 42 m / s in gray cast iron EN-GJL-200 to EN-GJL-300. For heavy-duty drives or higher peripheral speeds also custom-made in alternative materials such . Ductile cast iron (EN-GJS-400 to EN-GJS-700), cast steel (GS) or in steel welding
  • Produced according to DIN 111 or individually different
  • Shaft-hub connections with cylindrical drill, tolerance field for press fittings, with or without feather key, preparations for the intake of couplings, flanges etc.

  • By default divided pulleys are balanced in grade G16, G6.3 or G2.5
  • Surfaces grounded, individual surfaces and special varnishing as well as corrosion protection according to customer specifications
  • Detailed documentation of material properties, balancing qualities and surface treatments
  • With rim widths >750 mm two or more pulleys can be combined on a wave which are implemented crowned or top crowned
